Jake Smith Wins State Title!
Named 5A1 State Tournament Outstanding Wrestler!

   Jake Smith won the 2010, 215lb State Title by defeating Tyler Masson of Kofa High in four overtime periods to win 5-4.  Jake also had to battle Red Mountains Kalu Ukaku in four overtime periods to win the semi-final match.  Those two wins plus pins over Brophy's Kevin Harris and Westwoods Marc Moore helped Jake win the nomination for Outstanding Wrestler of the 5A1 Tournament in additon to his dramatic State Championship.
